Relying on the specific expertise of its managing director, Valentina Garrapa, PhD, the research team of preclinics Italia specializes in the design, selection and production/purification of recombinant antibodies, in particular the variable domains of camelid VHH antibodies (also known as Nanobodies® or single domain antibodies) and their functionalized derivatives. Our strength and specialization is the production of customized VHH ligands for various biomedical research and diagnostic applications.

Our in-house and externally acquired resources enable us to design and produce engineered VHH antibodies conjugated with near-infrared fluorescent protein (NIR-FP), luciferase, horseradish peroxidase (HRP) and Fc domains of immunoglobulin G (IgG). For our services, we always aim for close cooperation with our customers in order to meet their needs and requirements in a highly personalized manner.
