Accessibility Statement

Foreword

Beacies is committed to making its website accessible to all users, in accordance with Directive (EU) 2016/2102, Legislative Decree No. 106 of August 10, 2018, and the AgID Guidelines on the accessibility of IT tools.

The goal is to ensure maximum usability of digital content by reducing access barriers for all users, regardless of their abilities or the technologies they use.

Compliance Status

The website https://beacies.com is currently partially compliant with the accessibility requirements outlined in EN 301 549 v3.2.1 (2021-03), as some parts do not fully meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1), Level AA.

The accessibility assessment was carried out through:

  • Automated tools (Google Lighthouse, WAVE, Siteimprove);
  • Technical audits of digital components and HTML structure;
  • Internal manual tests on navigation, color contrast, and mobile compatibility.

Non-Accessible Content

Some content or sections may not be fully accessible due to:

  • Graphical elements or animations not tested with assistive technologies (e.g., screen readers);
  • Multimedia content without transcripts or subtitles;
  • Limited keyboard navigation in certain interactive areas;
  • Third-party content not directly managed by the company.

These issues are currently under review and are expected to be addressed progressively during 2025.

Technologies and Accessibility Tools

The website uses several solutions to improve user experience and support accessibility, including:

  • An accessible interface with options for contrast adjustment, text enlargement, and disabling animations;
  • Semantic markup and use of ARIA attributes for form labels, buttons, and interface elements;
  • Compatibility with major assistive technologies and modern browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge);
  • An AI-based accessibility widget for dynamic content adaptation.

Keyboard Navigation and Screen Readers

The website is designed to support:

  • Navigation via Tab and Shift+Tab;
  • Activation of links and buttons using the Enter key;
  • Visual identification of the current focus;
  • Use with compatible screen readers (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack).

Further optimizations for advanced screen reader use and modal/popup management are currently under testing.
